My head is still reeling a week after my iboga yoga session at the Costa Rica Yoga Spa in Nosara, Costa Rica. I went with my best friend to experience this psychoactive African plant called iboga, which is known for its incredible and mysterious healing powers – both mentally and physically.
Just an hour away from Tamarindo via the coastal road (or about 2.5 the safer road through Nicoya), it took us practically no time to get there. The location was positively stunning. The iboga yoga itself took place on a palapa overlooking a jungle valley with a waterfall and a view of the ocean. But this view was nothing compared to what we were about to see inside of our minds.
I’ll be writing a detailed article about this soon for the Tico Times, so stay tuned for a link. For now, I’m enjoying an exceptionally clear head and ease of focus, which seem to be pleasant lingering aftereffects.
